The noisiest part is when the “arms” move up and down, the bottom plastic rollers strike against the bottom rubber cap, making a banging sound. Vertical Climber Exercise Machine is not terrible, but it can be a little annoying.
So, we solved that problem by cutting some nice hard foam pieces (2″) and affixing them just above that rubber cap to the stationary portion of the frame with a couple of cable ties. Now, when the “arms” move up and down, the stepper climber machine doesn’t make the banging sound.
Another cool thing you can do is to affix some exercise bands by connecting them to the stationary handle and attaching them to the foot pedals. This will add some nice resistance
